Hockey Helping Heroes returns to Toledo on April 16th
Unfinished Business
The inaugural Toledo Memorial Classic in 2022 ended in a 1-1 tie between the teams. Get in the game on Sunday, April 16th as the Toledo Police Hockey team hosts the Columbus Police Hockey team at the Huntington Center! Your game ticket is also good for the Walleye vs Komets game following at 5:15pm.
All proceeds from the TPD vs CPD game benefit the TPD Fallen Officer Memorial Scholarship. The Scholarship was established after the tragic loss of Toledo Officer’s Anthony Dia and Brandon Stalker. Graduating TPS Seniors who wish to go into a career in public safety (law enforcement, firefighting, EMT or paramedic) have the ability to receive a grant from this Fund to assist in the costs of their higher education. The Fund also serves as a vehicle to honor and remember the lives and sacrifices of Toledo Officers in their service to the Toledo community.
