Protective Floor Install/Removal
Occassionally the Foundation is presented with unique opportunities. In this case, we’ve been tasked with the installation and removal of the protective floor covering of the field at Ohio Stadium for an upcoming concert. The installation and removal will be coordinated in exchange for a sizable donation to the Foundation that will enable us to continue and expand our Hockey Helping Heroes™ mission of supporting our First Responders right here in Central Ohio.
The installation will occur on two separate dates and the removal on one. A mimimum of 24 volunteers are needed to complete each task within the timeframe listed, however more bodies will make the job go much faster.
- Wear comfortable clothing (t-shirt, shorts, sneakers or boots, gloves). The installation and removal will continue rain or shine with the exception to lightning.
- Water will be provided – feel free to bring additional refreshments, snacks, etc.
- Park in the west lot of Ohio Stadium and enter through Gate 31.

Participants will receive a pair of 2019 First Responder Face-Off tickets with recognition given to you during the first intermission of the game (TBA: February 2019) – as well as a lifetime of memories.
