The First Responder Face-Off Foundation is proud to be a non-profit partner of Carry The Load and we’re excited to bring awareness and visibility back to Toledo on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
In 2021, we partnered with the Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization (MOJO) for a Jeep convoy to Toledo from Columbus on National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day, to pay tribute at the Toledo Police Memorial in memory of two fallen Toledo Officers. Afterwards, the group was welcomed to the Toledo Jeep Assembly Plant for photos of their rigs in front of the Jeep sign. The event in total raised over $4,000 for Carry The Load.
Hockey Helping Heroes debut in Toledo with the Walleye at the Huntington Center
In January of 2022, we partnered with the Toledo Walleye for a charity hockey game between the Toledo Police Hockey team and the visiting Columbus Police Hockey team. The game raised over $13,000 for the establishment of the TPD Fallen Officer Memorial Scholarship.
We’re excited to return to the city that built the vehicle that won the war on Sunday, May 15, 2022 – and we’re proud to partner again with the Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization and the UAW Local 12 Jeep Unit to show our support for all of our fallen within the mission of Carry The Load.

- 10:00am – Carry The Load rally at the Toledo Police Memorial (555 N Erie Street)
- Presentation of the Colors
- Speakers from Carry The Load & local Hero families
- Pay tribute to all who have paid the ultimate sacrifice
- 11:00am – MOJO & Jeeps depart for visit to the Toledo Jeep Assembly Plant
- Photos in front of Jeep sign (only Jeep branded vehicles permitted)
- Suggested donation of $25 per Jeep using link below
- Noon – Luncheon at UAW Local 12 Jeep Unit (2300 Ashland Avenue)
- Meet & Greet with UAW Local 12 Veteran’s Committee Members
- Visit from members of the Ohio National Guard
- Food trucks from Swingin Wieners, Fat Boyz & The Icy Paw!
- 2:00pm – Depart UAW Local 12
- Headed to the Bluffton Dari Freeze (595 S Main Street) in Bluffton, Ohio
- Meet & Greet with members of the Bluffton Police Department (w/police escort)
- Honor the life and service of Officer Dominic Francis
